Richter jellybeans

A while ago Adam put up some samples of these and i suggested that a friend of mine had been using them for a while with great success. I have since been trying to get some and none of the shops are stocking them. I cant get hold of my mate but im thinking he has got something else thats simular. Must be close but have these been released yet? I apologise about the false info if they havent. I will try a see what he is actually using. Adam are they around yet?

I will try and find out for you SPESS. Ryan T might be able to help in the mean time, but I'm not sure. Mine haven't even been rigged or hit the water yet, soon thou, very soon. :) Problem is I will be wanting to run something much much bigger.

He said (my mate) that they were working well on the small mahi's out at the fads. Also some nice bonito and small toooona took them while trolling light gear! If this is correct i was willing to give them a shot.

Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

One Size

Thu, 2007-02-15 15:15

Theyre only that size SPESS, you can get other types of Richter lures which are a bit bigger, like the dorados, etc.

Check out the Richter Lures Webpage if you want to see what sort of lures are on there. There isn't any Jellybabes thou as they are relatively new, but still been around a while.

Damn Straight

Thu, 2007-02-15 15:21

Damn straight it is, me and my mate built that site. On-line catalouge of lures which certainly catch fish, wouldn't do it if I didn't believe it. Mr Richter gave me a lure, said I was going to catch my first marlin on it, first day of trolling the big game stuff and whammo, my first black on the lure he said. Since then, caught heeeaps more stuff, so I'm well and truly a believer in his lures and don't mind promoting them either. :)

Nothing like the addrelalin

Thu, 2007-02-15 15:27

Nothing like the addrelalin rush of your first buzz of that reel! My first believe it or not was on a swimming lure. CD18 in the short spread for some wahoos hanging around! Got the shock of my life when we sore the first jump. Since then the good old richters have got me a few sails but no marlin yet. Ill get one this year when i go to the roloeys though, wont to come? LOL.

Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

Jelly babe.

Fri, 2007-02-16 13:40

Hi guys, we have a big range of Richter lures,
I think the product in question is the Richter Jelly Babe. We have them in the rigged version, that's with the 100lb mono leader and a 4/0 Maruto hook, or the twin pack Jelly babe skirt's. I agree with Adam, Mr Richter makes an awsome product and I will only be using his lures for gamex 2007.

Out the back

Sun, 2007-02-18 19:06

I usually run one either side of the white water about 20 m back and run a deep diver ( red head or pink chrome Halco crazy deep) in the middle under the wash about 10 m back but approx 6 to 8 m deep .

Drop back!

For the Richter Jelly Babe I'm running it in the prop wash at lower speeds, higher speeds in the "slightly" clearer water!
