rocket launchers

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows where to get those self fit rocket launchers from? I know they don't look the best but i need to get the canopy retrimmed anyway so I was thinking of getting it incorporated into the rocket launcher, would probably look a lot better. I would get some made but i'll be getting a new boat next year.

Cheers!

Pete

my mate had some and they were only good for light spin rods, the heavier overheads etc would work it loose after a while. not sure if it was just the one he had but just make sure they are good ones

custom?

We got one made to fit around our bimini, was probably a bit more pricey than getting one off the shelf but damn it works / looks good.

If that sort of thing is in your budget let me know and I'll follow up the guy's name... he was out Malaga way I think.

gday guys,

the place is West Coast Marine fabication.  Brad is his name.    His number is 92492749, and he is in Malaga.  His work is fantastic, a much better end result than a BCF style bolt on job.  I can send you some pictures of the targa bar/ rocket launcher set up he did for us.

we had/have

we had/have one from BCF which when it is loaded with much will start to fall apart. A few rods with reels and it is overloaded with weight.

Can you remeber what sort of price it cost you Ben? We are looking at a few different bimini / launcher options at the moment

I think you'll find it was

I think you'll find it was this guy. Brad "West coast marine fabrication"in Malaga 0417937031

Great guy.

The cheaper ones are okay but i like to rivet all joiners and i also normally slightly upgrade them with a few extra point of leverage. Also only suitable for light rods as per there owne recomendations.
