hi guys looking at a new rod either the saltist demonblood 962 or the seajigger anybody with experience using these rods would be greatly appreciated cheers
i have both the older model 315 an 305 seajiggers replaced now by a new model if its out yet
I use the 315 around metro for everything from ligh bait fishing or sp work for skippy herring an whiting to baitcasting mulies at tailor and all my lure casting off the beach in the 15-40g range an is my goto rod nice an light an loads up nicely with plenty of low down power matches well to my exo pti 30 or daiwa aird 4000 just dont try lifting anything in on the rocks over 1kg the tip is very light and will snap
I use the 305 for all my 40g+ lures , bait fishing off the rocks with my baitrunner an prefer the 305 to the 315 if chasing larger winter tailor chucks a bull chop a mile caught a few mulloway on it on sp as well.
that's awesome thanks for the advice I was looking at the 305 as its casting weights cover a lot of ground likewise with the demon blood also had a look at a lateo pirate rod today that looked quite nice if anybody has any experience using these rods id like to hear from you and thanks a lot novacastrian
