Penguin Island
Hi Jimmy, have wondered the same things myself down there, I don't know that there are a heap of options? Have heard you can do OK on tailor from Penguin Island (take the ferry) and have also heard that Becher point down Port Kennedy way does OK. Point Peron (beach immediately south of the lookout "jetty") has done well for some decent herring for me but a bit hit/miss. Would love to find a good landbased tailor spot, haven't seen many landed on the jetties and when they were caught I wasn't impressed with the size/quality of the fish.
Good luck,
BD.
