Rod to suit TD Sol 2500

Hello

Im looking for a 2-4kg spin rod to match upto a Sol 2500 running 4 and 8lb.

Will be using it to throw plastics for skippy, herring and bream.

Budget around 2-$300.

Cheers

Jarra

rods to suit

the shimano raider are good for the $

the berkley dropshot are also good.

then you have spare $$ for quality braid

although if you can score a second hand nitro then even better.

there are bream forums with members always selling stuff so if you have time then have a look.

I use my Sol 2500 on a raider 7'6 2pce with 4lb braid and it is a great combo

Have a look in the fs section, someone is selling a Daiwa Saltwater 6-10lb and its a great combo - use it myself.

getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

Look around

I have a 2-4kg 7ft strudwick softbodz which seems to go nicely. Have a look around and if you get a chance take the reel to see what it feels like in your hand so you know you like it. Good luck!
