Heading out Sunday to sound out sum new deep drop ground an wanted to try tangle with a YFT. Just wanted to know preferances of lures colors ect! Any other pointers / tips. Iv caught lots at the abroholos and exy but just when trawling for Mack's

I don't see many tips / advice above ...
As you have caught yft before you are on the right track with the tackle you used then. My recommendation would be to troll a combination of skirts and deep divers of varying sizes and colours (yellow / green my fav for tuna). If one lure is consistently getting hits change the others to similar sized lures. No need for wire trace and go as lighter mono trace as you feel comfortable. The lighter the trace the more hits you are likely to get as tuna can be shy at times. Recommend a trolling speed of 8kts + and if you get a strike don't stop the boat immediately, by not stopping you may well get multiple hook ups.
