The Great Devide IMO
At this stage I can see a split in the comp.
It appears there are 9 teams only that can make up the 8.
Carlton, Melbourne, Richmond, Saints to far back.
GCS, Freo, Collingwood, Lions and Doping to far back and fighting for the spoon.
That leaves NM, Cats, Adelaide, Port, Swans, Hawks, WCE, GWS and Bullies to fight out top 8. One out which depending on results can be anyone, even NM. No-one is safe as far as I can see.
No team has great form that makes them the standout. Sydney and Geelong look the best, but both have lost to bottom teams. Mighty Hawks JUST getting it done. Adelaide hot and cold. WCE not even flat track bullies. As for the true Bullies (dogs) appear strong, yet not always convincing and GWS can beat anyone, but has tripped up aswell.
Whats others opinion on this.

Pav back in and if Tabs can standup again it may well be a goal fest . Can't see Neale being held for 2 weeks in a row .. Lots of hungry young blokes looking forward to see how they go against a decent side .

What we can still do, and i hope we do do, is have a big influence on the final make up of the eight. And maybe that started last night? Commentators saying it is very difficult now for port to make the eight.
I hope we keep making life very difficult for those in the eight. If we do its good signs for next year when we get some injured players back.
Last night was a reality check. A good indicator of where we are at. The previous wins were against very ordinary teams. Last night's win was a team hoping to play finals. Next week we travel to the MCG to take on the pies. Another reality check. Every game from here on in, is a reality check.
And i am liking what i see every week.
