Running Boards, not fishing related

Hi guys,
anyone purchased a set of running boards for your 4WD lately. Ford is quoting me just under $2300.00 for a set.
Bugger me, I could purchase a set of wheels & tyres for that.
anyone have any other suggestions, like companies who will make for you, without wanting half your retirement nest egg :(
thanks in advance Wez

Kevin Hay at Hayfab was
Kevin Hay at Hayfab was making side steps for around the 5-600 mark. I heard he has pulled back on them a little but would be still worth a call. Hayfab is also on Facebook. Easy to contact and see examples of his work there.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Plenty of 4x4 specialist
Plenty of 4x4 specialist fabrication places around Perth that can do them for you. I got a set of rock sliders made up for my Hilux last year for $500 from BKM customs, very solid construction, paint work on them wasn't great but I sorted that out myself.

running boards
thanks mate, will look into it. My car is a new Ford Everest, the base model that I have does not come with running boards, so they are trying to sell me the ones that are factory fitted to the upmarket models, at $2300.00 , no fucking chance
