im going to take my dingey out tommorry at the ramp near the causeway at rockingham and could anybody tell me if there is any salmon there at the moment and if you could tell me where to go and to use baits or lures
iv never caught a salmon beore thank you

Not sure if theyre there but....
If they are there theyll eat about any lure youll throw at em, ive always had success using halco slices so id suggest giving them a go, its not a case of getting them to bite its a case of finding them thats the trick.

not many around mate, spent all day in the sound on sunday n didnt see any. spent all day fishin for them at pt perron today, didnt get any but saw a few schools of about 10 fish, its still worth a try i reccon. mulies for bait or metal slices and largish minnows/ bibbed lures

yesterday there were heaps of birds around the jetty at BP (i work there) looked like a reasonable school there, they have moved on today so they will be somewhere close by prob north. good luck
ps the birds will have followed a school that big
