He was starting to get bored but once he got that one he didnt stop casting lures for the next two hours.

Mine were at Yeagarup and the sons at Meelup.

Went yesterday and today at Meelup and there have been heaps of fish.

Maybe I haven't been paying attention but yours is the first significant geo bay salmon report I've seen this season...that's a great spot for kids and everyone else to get them on lures, your young bloke is gonna want to wag school to get onto more fish!

 Was great fun down there today i saw your young bloke catch a salmon he had fun by the look it. Great to see kids getting into few as well. Also got 6 at smiths beach today

what are poeple thinking about salmon are they heading up the coast from dounsborough yet? I can only get as far as wonnerup on weekdays before it gets too dark to fish, reckon its worth a shot off wonnerup

...if they're in the bay now, they should be at West End by the weekend, and all land based spots in between should be seeing drips and drabs from now until then, and properly firing by next week...tip for metro boaties, there should be some fish at Coventry's from now onwards....

 

PS:Please remember, it's all a very big "SHOULD"!!!

School came through Mandurah last Tuesday we had only been there 15mins and drove over a school north of carnac on good Friday so they are around!

Yep they are fun. They wern't playing the game today where I was ( near Dunno), they were sitting a bit further out near a very large school of bait fish and became harder to tempt on lures as the day progressed. Yesterday they were in close and there were hungry smashing lures straight away.
