 ...everyone will be blaming them. The reality is...a strong Leeuwin current will kill the metro season more than anything. We've had three straight pearlers, we're due for a few bad years. It's a cyclical thing.

 Yeah, they come around the corner and hit that, it sends them out wide and you may well see them coming back in up Geraldton way, I remember them doing that some 5 odd years ago.

 they all seem to be a good size by the looks. 

the pros take a lot but there is plenty to go round. the numbers taken by these guys is well down on 20 yeatrs back . cetainly not an easy way to make a living

 I was there that day. There were 4 or 5 other schools along the 4wd part of the beach for the rest of the day. Pros didn't disturb them or the reccies at all. 

I had a great session and bagged a few solid fish.

 

I say good luck to them.

Try not to pass judgement off a few photos with no Context.

 

Those pros won't take enough to dent the population. Thats a tiny school worth in those tubs. If they were taking multiple schools a day then ID be worried.
