saltist 6500 vs fin nor offshore 9500

whats better out of the saltist 6500 or offshore 9500. i would put 80lb braid and it would be for big game fish like sharks, tuna, mulloway ect. inclueding skull dragging rays. saltist has more line capacity and 15kg drag while the offshore has less line capacity but 30kg drag.

what are your for thoughts?

Based on Alan Hawks review and a few other reports, the Fin Nor Lethal 100 is a far better option than both. Of the current choices both will be ok but as I understood it the Saltist was a lot dearer. I would get the Lethal anyway for that price bracket of reels under $150.

15kgs of drag is way more

15kgs of drag is way more than enough. Highly doubt you use it to its full extent

Never

tried the offshore, got a 6500H atm. Caught shark, rays, mullas,Dhuies, and hooked more. Still going strong with 50lb braid in.......more than enough. Got a 4500H and is a bit sketchy after catching a few spaniards off Steep Point a couple years back. No probs so far with the 6500H.

Saragosa

I'd look at the saragosa's, plenty of options for size also. If they are anything like the old saragosa's you wont go wrong.

30kg drag? How the hell can a reel at that level actually fish at 30kg of drag. It doesnt.

I have 4 Saltists and 8 finnor offshores...
Would have to actually recommend the offshore but its a heavy mofo!! Or as alrady mentioned, the lethal 100 has a pretty good write up but I haven't used one.... yet!
