I have a old fishing buddy from a previous life coming to visit from 16 Oct till 8 Nov. Would like to get him into a few sambos. When does the season start?

I was out on seasports
I was out on seasports charter in Jurien Two weekends ago and they where thick if you read the sunday times the write up about jurien that was myself and five others call Craig White he'll get you into them and he'll go out with only small numbers

the usual spots hold fish
the usual spots hold fish year round - and generally if the sambo's aren't there, there's amberjack around which for their size go a lot harder.
but like Huggy said warmer months bring in the big schools of sambo.
