sandy cape?

hey guys going up to sandy cape for a camp next weekend - was wondering whats up there and what bait to bring along with me? first time beach fishing as well - will a 9footer do? what are the other things that i need to consider? any help would be appriciated.

jeez popular spot... I'm heading up too. First time there aswell, I m taking mullies for tailor, scalies for mulleway and oxheart for herring. Hope the fish are on the bite and the weed is far far away. Hopefully it'll be a great weekend!!!!

cool! read somewhere that you must be careful in choosing your spots to fish - some are marine sanctuaries... ill take those baits up with me - i dont wanna take my chances with the shops and their stocks up there :)

On Saturday there was tonnes of weed down there.....the rest of Jurien looked pretty free of the weed though!

I'm heading up Thursday night or first light friday. Depending on how work goes. I'll give the mullet ago, never had much luck with it. Figured scalies as other species will take it too. But will give it ago When you headed up soongster?

I've always fished the next
I've always fished the next beach north of sandy cape and always produced good Tailor and skippy. Fish the middle of the beach where the reef arches away from the beach

ill be heading up the week
ill be heading up the week after long weekend.. figured itll be less packed by then
hmm might find some time to get me some bait for that trip - will prob be scalies. might bring a packet of mullet and some mullies and prawns just in case lol

are there many tracks off the beach?
