scaley mackeral record

Hi, i'm Georgia (13 years old) i'm using my dads account right now. Anyway just letting everybody know that we just went down to Coogee jetty and got our record amount of scaley's. We got 141. (we know the bag limit is 9 litres each, this was under that)
Just if anybody was wondering we freeze them in freezer bags (10 to 12 each bag) we then take them for bait for all our other fishing. We use them for tailor,salmon,mackeral,jewies basically any type of fish we go fishing for throughout the year. THEY MAKE EXCELLENT BAITS!!! and preserve on the hook far better than mulies.
Also me and my dad have been scaleying for all my life and this is our record.

Well done Georgia! Sounds like you had fun doing it. You're lucky your dad gets you out doing these things. I'm always revving up my youngest boy to get out fishing. He has a bet with his mum that if he can catch a Dhuie 9kg or more he wins $100. His closest is 6kg.
