I'd love to see some of the people whom have said that they get into the water to protect sharks, follow through with their threat.

This group are full time trouble makers. They never go near the sea let alone enter it. Full of the hairy arm pit brigade, knitting their own denim and growing their own yogurt. You see the same mob at every protest from the gas hub, to the woggle and all points in between. Arm chair experts on every issue they have read about on facebook. Many on full time welfare they have the time to join the rent a crowd mob who complain about any thing they can whine about. Zero credibility.

These days , I'm cynical of most conservationist groups they seemed to have grown into large militant organisations that rely on creating business to support themselves in their chosen career . A lot of can rattlers are back packers earning $20 a hour . I'll put my hand in my pocket for the Salvos , red cross and the like but not them anymore .

You nailed it. I used to support WWF etc but all has become militant, one-eyed and cant seem to get the bigger picture.

Sure their roles might be conservation, but a debate is a debate, and when it goes against you you have lost.

Somehow these groups just cant seem to get that, and I wont give a cent off my hard earned cash to sore loosers (either way)

I have a sea shepherd t shirt, use it to wipe the blood off my hands when I go bow hunting.... My mate bought it for me as a joke.

Now to just make a You tube video of me shooting feral cats in it...

That was so good to see that they got more than they bargained for outta that one. Idiots are on some fantasy ego trip then reality strikes. Lucky they weren't thrown in the Gulag for 10 years. Yep won't see them anywhere near Russian waters again they (the Russians) play hard ball.

My view of them changed a lot after having my brother head to Antarctica with them for the last three seasons. I generally agree with their tactics and most of their causes but like everything/everyone they can be over the top with some of their "causes." The biggest eye opener for me was their campaign in taiji with the slaughtering of dolphins by local fishermen. I am by no means a greenie but think that the world needs some activists to keep people/governments and industries in check, and think their militant tactics have been a product of the increase in legal amnesty/loopholes that these clearly destructive and wasteful industries have access to.

I agree 110%! The "do-gooders"all start off with a good cause but then get carried away and together with social media, it blasts off into orbit and the actual casue is lost amongst all sorts of other agenda's and political lobbying and BS! It's like the BS that surrounded the Super Trawler "F/V Able Tasman". Before passing further comment please try watch the movie "Drawing the Line" it paints the real picture becasue we've been lied to by the media simply becasue big bad-ass ugly news headlines sells newspapers and gets people talking. Support them on faceBook https://www.facebook.com/drawingthelinefilm and watch the trailer on their website http://drawingthelinemovie.com/trailer/
