 Service history on motor.

Service history on motor. All electrics working as they should. Upto  date safety equipment. Have a good look over the trailer. Often gets over looked. If you buy  it, and  they say the bearing were done recently, get them changed anyway.

 +1 for doing the bearings

Wed, 2016-12-14 22:43

+1 for doing the bearings asap. I learned the hard way with my dinghy trailer believing the guy they'd been done. Drove to Waroona dam and back and the wheel fell off in my driveway with the outer bearing fused to the axle

Thu, 2016-12-15 11:06

was doing about 3500 to 4000 with the throttle just under half through the estuary  got on the

plane easy enough, its not a jetski so will have to get used to the power difference.

Leaks

Thu, 2016-12-15 23:44

If you are standing shin deep in water in the boat after 10 minutes it's reasonable to suspect the boat has a major leak, or you have forgotten to put the bungs in.
You may well laugh at the thought but let me assure you I have seen it happen with a new boat, everyone was excited etc and no one thought of the bungs checked every other thing possible but not what keeps the water out.
