2 hours out in the dinghy on Saturday has produced again I love this place. No need to have these big expensive boats to get good fish

Im heading up to the beach house in Ledge next weekend for the long weekend but only have the dingy there so was hoping its calm enough to get out with that! If you dont mind me asking what depth were you fishing in mate?

8 to 10 metres, there are a lot of Bombies in that area u just drift between and bang bagged out on Dhu's the last 3 trips. The guy at the seabird deli said there are a lot around at the moment but not to many pinkies. Is ledge a beach launch also.

Yeah mate ledge is a beach launch too! Im hoping to put the cray pots in and try and get a dhuie or two so I will look around the 10 metre mark.... Your tinny is a bit bigger than the one I have up there though hahaha

It a savage 4.2 with a 25hp evinrude. The next calm weekend I taking a mate from work out in his little tinny with a 8hp motor, you don't have to go far to get good fish. It just the launch and retrieval can get sketchy when u get swell sets come through trying to swamp your boat.

Gives me hope coz my tinny is a 4.1 meter dory with a 20 on the back. Havent had it out in the ocean yet. Seeing your catch i think ill just do it.
