Weekend Carnarvon Trip.

Had a great day fishing Bernier Island on Friday 22/05/15.
Conditions where mint. Caught a range of different fish.
The biggest Mackerel went 20+ kgs and a 1.5M mahi which is my PB.
Saturday turned shit with strong SE and didn't even bother fishing, had too many drinks the night before.
Over all a good trip but too far for a weekend.

Tot, the conditions on Friday was glass pretty much whole day.
Tim-o, The trunk on the left is definitely a mackerel but can't tell what it is. The head part and mouth on this fish was slightly smaller compared to Spanish mackerel but lot chunkier.

I was out Friday arvo,
I was out Friday arvo, around Koks, current was fairly ripping by the time I got there.. Managed a 1200mm cod which released well, ducked in close and bagged out in no time!!
Wish we got out earlier... Stayed overnight and came home in the morning... Pretty crappy Saturday but not too bad.
didnt get much sleep as we stayed out from RedCliff a few mile thinking it was nice, then bloody easterly came in the night, so boat sat into the wind, but side on to the slop...
pretty red eyed the next morning!!! (Nothing to do with the jack Daniels)
have to ask... Why on earth did you keep that piddley little thing in between those two Pinkies? Haha surrounded by good fillets haha!!
