Has anyone ever caught one of these squid around Perth before?
I have never seen or caught on like this, hope the photos work

I think it is an Arrow Squid as opposed to the Southern Calamari squid? I haven't caught one before so I stand to be corrected.

yep arrow squid. caught a few couple years ago. also in Cockburn sound.

Definitely an arrow squid, used catch heap of them in Dampier harbour. They make great live baits for black jew

in deeper water in the sound, still good to eat.
Reverse cycle a/c supply and install - Ducted and wall splits

Yeah, arrow squid.
Also caught one last Saturday in Cockburn Sound, caught several about 3 years ago but not all that common in the Sound.
Agressive, they can turn their head around and bite while you have hold of the tube !

Arrow squid as already mentioned.
Caught heaps of them in the sound, their numbers tend to peak from may - august we have found.
