Went out with Whitey on Wednesday. Was only myself, whitey and his decky on the jigs the rest were fishing bait. Both was slow as the drift was opposite to the wind but once that stopped the jigs took over. I ended up with a decent amount of fish on jigs so i was stoked. Pb snapper to go with it pulling my olds scales down to 10.2kg i think whitey said it was 87cm. Was awesome to see as usual Whitey taking care of all unwanted fish and released properly watching each one swim off into the depths especially those dhuies...always have a great time out with the king of jurien cheers mate.

Nice fish and a excellent day out,Might want to check your scales or maybe you just caught the worlds fattest snapper but 87cm 10.2kg seems a bit out.(not trying to troll)

well done. nice lot of fish
well done. nice lot of fish there. gotta be happy getting your pb.
as asked , second pic, i presume he is venting the dhuie for release. not a job for the inexperienced angler, can result in certain death if incorrectly performed.
nice result for all on board

Allways a pleasure Sha,The
Allways a pleasure Sha,
The second photo is indead venting a Dhu Fish. The tool being used is a specialized venting tool imported from the US and is being used by a professional that has sucessfully vented thousands of fish, I would not advise anybody to attemt this procedure with out the correct tools and knowledge of how to do it.
