Senseless killing

Back up in hedland and went for a drive and found this bit of senseless killing just sitting on the beach. I can't see the point in killing something if your not going to eat it . The head had been cut off I'm guessing for the jaws . Would have been around the 5 to 6 foot mark

Not exactly in shortage, why is it senseless? what someone does with their daily bag limit is up to them, you may catch a shark to eat, they might catch their bag limit of shark for the jaws only. Again that's their choice, as long as bag and size limits are adhered to then it's not a sustainability issue and we all know the sharks are ridiculous up north anyway.
If anything they could have disposed of the trunk back to the water or a bin.
