Hey guys
Im getting right into my freshwater fishing lately and was wondering if anyone can tell me much about the serpentine river above or below the falls up to the dam is it any good and what's in there I thought it was all dried up but haven't been to the falls for years.
thanx for any help.

walked from the falls to pipehead dam a couple of years ago with the fly gear....not much water. saw a dead catfish and that was all. Be aware the rangers will tell you that you cant fish but fisheries says you can...sent a lot of emails around and still havnt had a definite answer..used to be a good trout stretch but not worth the walk now.

The bridge at Pinjarra
Has a weir under it to stop the tide pushing up river (salt water). Be good to fish up stream from this bridge. bigger and better water. As said before not much water left to flow down stream from pipe head dam. Not allowed to fish between Serpentine dam and Pipe head dam as it is catchment region.
