Serpentine River

Does anyone know what the Serpentine river is like near the lakes rd bridge is the water healthy?
My wife is going to be dropping me off for a fish Thursday arvo/evening and I wont be able to just move spot so if it is full of stagnent stinky water. It always looks like a prime bream spot to me when I go past on the freeway but never had a closer look.
Or would my chances of a good bream at the Pinjarra rd bridge be better?
Any help would be great
Cheers
Brendon

Not sure about Serpintine.
Not sure about Serpintine looks clean enough driveing over bridge and have seen guys fishing there before. But I've got good fish in the Murray around the bridges. Top of the tide has worked best for me in that area.

It IS (or was) a prime bream spot...
...got my biggest one (40cm) years ago, a 100 meters or so downstream from the bridge, and lots of smaller ones around the pylons. Haven't fished it in years though...they've taken the boat ramp away and there's a big pipe running across the river now...things could be different.
I only ever caught bream at the Pinjarra road bridge when it was raining...probably just me though! This time of year there should be some tailor there...but sizes not too good.

Well I went down there
Well I went down there tonight had a look around the lakes rd bridge and freeway bridge but it looked a bit dirty and had a bit of a smell to it (it could have produced but I had no transport to move if not)
So I got dropped off at the Pinjarra rd bridge. The tide was coming in with a fair current but ended up getting half a dozen small bream 20-23cm, a 27cm mulloway that had some damage to it side near its head (similar to some of the deseased bream in the Swan/ Canning) and a nice yellowfin whiting.
Had a pretty good night chilled out and got my first mulloway hopefully I can start to get some of its big brothers.

yeah mate its a good spot.
yeah mate its a good spot. serpentine river holds good bream and soapies.
hardest thing these days is finding a decent spot landbased if ya dont have a tinny.
It fishes the best up and around the bridge this time of year, come winter and rain fish head back towards the mouth.
you will catch some good bream around the structure, flick some soft plastics...
