Setting up raymarine axiom 9

Hi all . Out on the water trying our luck and playing with the new sounder. Having some trouble getting a clear screen while at anchor. Any ideas how to get it set would be great. First time using it

Set it to full auto
Looks like the gain is turned wayyyy up.

yeah i tried that and it
yeah i tried that and it helped a bit but then i had a lightbulb moment . on my other unit the transducer is still hooked up , i turned it off and low and behold it came real clear . stupid me lol. cheers anyway. sounder was reading bottom at 23knts only in less than 10 mtrs, getting a good trial out deep sunday
