hahaha . . . makes a crazy kind of sense when you hear that they pull alligators out of drains as well. Sounds like a place to keep out of.

The city of Armadale put on
The city of Armadale put on a tagged fish comp in 1994?? They stocked the lake on the corner of Armadale rd and Albany hwy with a thousand big brood stock trout and on the day of the comp we had a huge storm, shut the fish down and flooded the lake. The next few weeks were red hot, big broodies everywhere. I remember pulling some cracking fish out of a drain on Armadale rd. Standing there fishing in the drain and some coppers have pulled up next to me and asked what the hell I think I'm doing. Drop my jig down, hook up immediately and land a 3-4 lb 'bow. "Just fishin mate"
