Hi All
I am planning to head to Shark Bay in October, just wondering if the wind / boating weather are ok at this time of the year?

october
october in shark bay is usually a no go due to the strong winds coming from the north mate. you will get the odd couple of days here and there that are fishable by boat.
but september is usually still good winds start picking up around the end of september

North?
is that a typo?,
SW winds are firing up during September onwards. Northerlies on the west coast are generally fairly short term and often as the wind is backing for a front.
Shark Bay is about the epicentre of the souwesters on the west coast.
Spent many a night anchored in Shelter Bay area waiting for the SW to drop of when fishing the west coast and travelling south..
