Hooked blade stanley knife

I have read that a hooked blade stanley knife is a handy tool when filleting sharks.  That would be consistent with cutting the skin from the inside which is the way to go.

yeah they are, had them a couple of times. them wobbys are a pain . bloody tough skin on them. had a bloke only last week tell me how to fillet them the easy way. using an angle grinder with a masonary disc on it . once you get through the skin its easier.

Cat shark and shrt easy to fillet.

You have got to slide the knife in under the skin and cut up from the inside otherwise the edge on your knife won't last more than 2 or 3 cuts
