What's with the stradic obsession on here, keen to here some other suggestions, the sol2, patriarch and quantum smoke are equally as good, if not better!

Got the 2500 and love it. Use it for all my light stuff but also landed a big pinky, dhuie and decant sambo on it and it handled them well!

I have both the ci4 and ci4+

I have both the ci4 and ci4+ both in the 2500.

Great reels. My old one has never skipped a beat, and it has been hammered over the last couple years on big skippy etc, even landed a big dirty stingray on it.

The new ci4+ comes with X-ship which is great.

Couldnt fault my 2500

Until Poseiden claimed it as his favourite reel. He also liked the Samurai rod it was attached to. Since that "donation" upgraded to Sustain which I also love, but still miss the CI4+.

Go with stradic

Sat, 2013-12-07 21:30

Think i will go with stradic ci4+. Is the 1000 too small for a 7'6" 6-12lbs rod that i will use for big bream and whiting to decent tailor?
