Shore jigging

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone out there has gotten into shore jigging?, I am toying with the idea of trying it out this season on black Jew from my local jetty but we usually fish them at night so was wondering if there is any jigs that would be recommended (maybe glowing) or am I just dreaming.

Also can anyone recommend a rod to suit, thinking of using my certate 3500hd spooled with 30lb but maybe might be a good excuse to buy a Stella 5000sw

from what Ive seen of the Taiwanese? shore jigging its just working a metal slice/slug/ jig from the shore/ platform,
with either a fast retrive or a hop and a bounce similar to a soft plastic have a look at a lure called a tokyo blue blue this is a awsome jig for queenies here in oz the thing is just crazy to retrive,
as for your Jew fish I have caught them on mr twisty's back in the day at stokes hill wharfe but the were about a foot long and on a 150lbs handline

Yeah, seams the Taiwanese
Yeah, seams the Taiwanese are right into this, just want to try something different from the usual aproach (300lb handline) and also try not to get the by catch of sharks.
