Silver vs Gold
Solver only gives you contours to 10m or 15m nd no access to the sonar charts etc.
Better off with a Navionics+ card unless you are travelling aust and need the gold card.

With the amount of spots
With the amount of spots between us think a silver would do.
but for the extra $150 odd I would go the gold, But that's just me. You working Monday? weather looks good and I will be going deep.

If you're fishing the shallows, I just upgraded to Platinum and the satellite overlay is very handy for planning fishing over weed banks and sand patches in the shallows. I haven't had a proper play with the 3D feature yet.
