Skippy or Whiting or something...

Is there anywhere land based where I can throw some plastics in for skippy or similar, just want to go have some fun on the ultra light gear. Have been breaming and chasing flathead but things are slow as they arn't really on the bite.
I've seen skippy inside Hillarys where all the resturaunts are but not keen on going in there because it's always packed..
Ps. not keeping any fish...

hillaries holds some good fish! just fish the structure and you will catch. Dont be put off by fishing the restuarants ad the likes, as long as there are no 'No Fishing' signs.

There's always something hanging around the back of Spinnikers....usually.....I've fished there a few times and have been busted off by some big stuff there. Been a tad quiet last couple of visits though

Day or night? Everytime I been there at night I only get snooks and squid, have seen big things jumping about but can't get them to bite. Haven't tried day time though

Also been doing Hilarys of late with not much luck. A few s,mall whiting couple weird looking reef fish flat head squid and 5 port jackson very small tho smallest being approz 12cm
