Slide bait rig - threading onto line
Submitted by chris1108 on Fri, 2017-06-09 16:06
Does anyone know of a video, or a detailed 'how to' guide, showing how to thread the slide bait device onto the line? I've done it before but have forgotten and I can't seem to figure it out.

By the way, this is the type
By the way, this is the type of slide bait rig I'm using. I know the ones with the three Vs are easier to figure out because that's what I previously used. This one I can't figure out.

Before you start looking
Before you start looking into it have you got a setup suitable to slide?
Look for ASFN on YouTube, they've got some good videos on sliding. The slide should face down towards the sinker

Thanks. Yeah, I'm confident
Thanks. Yeah, I'm confident my set up is suitable. I'm using a Penn Prevail 12ft rod (12-15kg) with a Saragosa 8000 spinning reel. Using 40lb braid and 40lb mono leader.
I've got the technique down alright. I was just having some issues figuring out how to attach the rig and got frustrated so I decided to ask via a post. Anyway, have figured it all out now so looking forward to getting out there and see how it goes. :)

That video is perfect. I'm
That video is perfect. I'm just going to buy some of those 'v' shaped rigs because they are much easier. As you can see in my second post, the type I'm using is slightly different and just slightly more difficult to attach.
