Bucks party's are my trigger point. Thankfully not manny to be at now days. Booze, scantly clad ladies, it's all too much for me
Keep up the effort Peter, it's worth it. I was a Winny Red packet a pack per day smoker. Started out as a Marlboro man. The Hoges add got me onto them. Six packs per week, times 52 weeks, times 17 years, times $20 per pack ..... Just over $100,000 .... I could rattle on about extra house repayments and such but the savings a life changing I can assure you.
for me it's the health issues, and having my kids think smoking is disgusting is tops.
Was a 25 a day with another 25 if I had a beer, had the last one on the way to hospital after receiving 40% burns in an industrial accident.
Asked the missus for a smoke 3 weeks later while still in hospital, missus asked the Sister and was told to leave the room and shut the door, the Sister then tore strips off me, I thought I could swear, nothing on her, she blistered what skin I had left with the tongue lashing. She called me for everything.
Never had another smoke since.
Stick with it Pete, its hard at first but you won't regret it.
30 a day for 25 years. Mrs and I gave up before we started a family. 21 years later, still haven't had one. Best thing I ever did. Stick with it but dont substitute with FOOD !
Well done Pete, keep up the good work. No such thing as 1 cigarette. As for me, Nearly had my last durrie after a shocking night at work back in May 1994, got home just after 6am, had a shower and went to fire one up before going to bed. Was just too tired and couldn't be bothered. That was it, the smoke I had while driving home that night was my last.

Great effort Peter
Keep it up Peter you will be surprised at the different tastes you will experience. And you won't miss coughing your lungs up in the morning.

Over 4 years for me, easy,
Over 4 years for me, easy, just mind set. In that time Iv also given up sex too (married with two kids) and taken up fishing!
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.
