Snorkel for car

Looking to get a snorkel on the missus car (05 prado). Anyone got any recommendations on where and for a good price? (nor preferred) Just dont have the time to do it myself.

While were at it, any good cheap tyre joints around.

I'd see the guys at TJM/West

I'd see the guys at TJM/West Coast Tyrepower see what deal they can do for both. they are good with their work. No one is Karratha is cheap Adam, haven't you learnt yet? I'd stay away from Bob Janes, never had a pleasent experience there and just got plain ripped off! they like to tell you a price per corner but not add, fitting & balancing then the disposal charge, quote out the window!

As for tyres Bridgestone at Osborne Park (just up the road from 4x4 and More)are pritty competative and sell brands other than B/stone.

Why do you want a snorkel for the car? Are you intending to dive down south and use it as a shark cage!!!!

I think Ironman 4x4 will fit

Sun, 2012-12-16 22:34

I think Ironman 4x4 will fit one for about 450, Arb 700+, I've done a few to mates cars and my own having bought kits off ebay quite cheaply (200 for 80 series diesel). It's not as easy as it looks!

 Ive fitted a couple myself

Sun, 2012-12-16 23:27

Ive fitted a couple myself off Ebay, I reckon for anyone moderately handy its dead easy.

Just working up to drilling the first hole!

And remember, no-one will take care of your car better than yourself as regards rustproofing under the snorkel etc.

Chances are it'll be the pimply faced 1st year apprentice doing it and he wont give a rats if it starts to bubble 2 years later.
