Snorkelling at Turquoise Bay Exmouth

Hi folks. I took these photos at Turquoise Bay up at Exmouth last week when we went there for a snorkel one day. I couldn't believe it when the Parrot fish turned side on and basically posed for me LOL. A very pretty fish indeed and the photo doesn't really do it justice.
As much as I like catching fish, it sure is great to see them swimming around in their natural environment and not dead and lifeless / colourless.

No milkies there

They're Salmon not Milkfish, Gadsy.

It's sad how so many people manage to kill themselves at Turquoise Bay. That current can be hell.

You're probably right smicko, although at the time they didn't look like Bluenose Salmon to me and the only other type of fish I could think of was the ol milkfish.
Thanks for the tip on Picasa too Mr Faulkner, I will get the download and have a play.

Yeah, I downloaded Picasa last night and had a bit of a play with the editing function. Did you just do the contrast edit with those pics??

just went into edit, hit "i'm feeling lucky", "auto contrast" and that's it. there's all sorts of stuff you can do manually which I'm sure can improve it even further.
