saturday dive
We hit the water around ten and condision looked unreal ,when launching the boat the marina was so clear.but things got stired up as we headed out,the first spot we dived was 2 mile out,and has shown us some good fish in the past. The viz was not good at 5m and I did not see to much .Greg and Kye had headed of over the ridge and the made they way back to the boat when the came upon a small school of dhuies two up around 10kg ,he got a shot and got one 4-5kg fish nice size for dinner,as for my group not much to see only a large school of buff bream .
The second dive was on the back edge of the three mile and the water was crap viz was 5m .We didn't get the anchor in the right spot so had a bit of a swim to the edge. Heaps of crays and some good size ones ,as the last four dives I have seen no crays I chose to leave the loop up top. Did see one small queenfish and some BB and plenty of fox fish. When we hit the top the boat was some distance so we had a bit of a swim back .While swimming back I notice Greg towing Kye back to the boat they had got down current from the boat and were having a bit of a tuff swim back so we pulled anchor and picked them up,Greg and Kye then went on to tell us of the baldies and dhuies and queenies ,and and and ,other fish ,at least someone seen some good fish .Will head to some ground next week where Im sure to see some dhuies.only a mile out.just hope the viz improves..

pity about leaving the loop
pity about leaving the loop up toop Paul, I'm suprised by the vis though, ours was great on Friday and only 2-3nm offshore too. Good luck next week, looks like there's a bit of swell coming so that vis might stay average for a while.

thats bit of a shame paul.
thats bit of a shame paul. All your other dives seem to be awesome, so you're probably due a bad dive;)
We dived on the three mile out from the back of alkimos wreck in bout 14 - 18m. The visibility was pretty good, at least 15m+. We managed a couple of harlequin fish. We didn't see any crays though...
