Solar LED strip lighting

Hi all does anyone know where I could get the above from? I've seen them on eBay but wanted to get them quicker if possible. Just want to have some extra light on the boat at night.
Cheers

Ahhhhh now I see, sort of.
What's wrong with regular leds and using the boat battery?. Or have you decided to go totally green?!?

Nah not green at all SF. If I was then I wouldn't be a keen fisho! Just seemed an easy way to get more light without having to hardwire anything. My wife picked up some solar rope lights which will help if I can work out how to rig them properly. I'll also see if I can change the globes in the extsiting lighting to LED's I think.

I bought
I bought these www.jaycar.com.au/rgb-led-flexible-strip-lighting-kit-with-effects/p/SL3954 and changed it to a battery connecting and ran the lights through clear tube for added protection. Can dim the lights, change colour to red for night vision and in the case of our recent trip to the Mandurah canals go full party mode with medic spray and glowsticks driving around the canal Xmas lights. Still going strong 4 years later

Frosty has nailed
Frosty has nailed it...
Clear tube is the G O....
Use some heavy leader, tape it onto one end of the strip light, push leader through the 10mm clear tube, use a bit of lube, get someone to hold the ass end of tube while you pull the leader ( a little jiggling wil help ) through and get the strip light all the way into the tube..... Coon both ends to waterproof and protect and walla, years worth of cheap lighting...
Ebay is the go, find an Aussie seller, surely if you've had your boat for more than 5 minutes you can wait a week for your lights to arrive...
If not support a local shop and pay ten times the price....

I just ordered one of the supernova 6 led kits for the boat. Recently put one under my van and was impressed enough to order another. It's controlled by an app on your phone. Any amount of different colour combinations .

This is just going to burn in my brain until I eventually buy one!! Do you reckon I could retrofit just the controller to my existing LED lighting?

I don't think so. It's pretty spliced in. You can use the code adc15 and get 15% off if that helps.

Thanks for all the replies
Thanks for all the replies fellas. The LED rope lights the wife bought look like they'll do the job nicely. Should give plenty of light and they're already in a tube! I don't need coloured ones so this should be fine.
Have a great long weekend all!

Yeah Boon I like the freedom
Yeah Boon I like the freedom a dress gives you when fishing, but as a die-hard Eagles fan, never purple! This one was actually a skirt in the form of a fishing towel which legend says helps protect the fish.
