Top 10 points totals are very close with SOR in front.
SOR 6222 vs NOR 6091
Total Average points totals are -

Once again thankyou to all who turned up for a great day and took the opportunity to have a bit of fun and put faces to some names.

Interesting score concept Tim????

Sun, 2007-06-10 23:14

Who was it that said they could make the numbers say whatever they liked? (both of us I think you will recall) The stats don;t lie and I would have to say that the total average score of the Southerners was 474.88 but the Northerners total average score was 530.67 so I'd say that NOR team took the advantage from the first round and that wasn't even on home turf. How about that!!! And that is without counting the nil scores for at least one boat from the south that didn't weigh in.

That was half pissed with a calculator and fat thumbs, but if someone else cares to run the numbers in the morning when they are sober I think there is room for some debate on which side of the river came out on top.

Cheers

Rounding

Mon, 2007-06-11 11:54

Andy

You are almost spot on. Just needed to allow for rounding.
The total points averages for all weighed fish NOR vs SOR are

NOR 530.59 vs SOR 474.72 Average points per Angler

Which means NOR would be in front if that measure was used.

Adjustment

Mon, 2007-06-11 12:33

Factoring in a 50% fee of points for a northener being on a Southerners rig does make the table alot more interesting.

NOR - 500.5
SOR - 497.5

yes, yes, still ahead though!

Thats true Pete. maybe Tony H's points should have counted towards the SOR points tally then seeing as he was on your boat.

Murray - Mexican or Deepwater

Tue, 2007-06-12 15:31

Jeff, was Murray your mate? Tim had him down as being on Mexican's boat.

What did he catch can you remember so I can marry it up to the tally sheet in case there were two Murrays fishing the comp?

Cheers
