Just one of the shows, easy to find as they frolic on the surface.

Wheres the porn? All I see is a Furuno showing a reddish "blotch" covering nearly half the screen?
A fish in the hand is worth 10 in the water!

Bait, and lots of it
They've been around like that for a month now, or more. Earlier, the sheer amount of bait around actually made it hard to raise a fish, I reckon--you could see them herding bait deep down, no surface action apart from the bait itself. All the ones I've seen on the surface, and found in the stomachs of fish, have been scalies.

Not saying they don't work
Fish will be where the bait is--but, earlier on, there was so damn much of it that they just didn't seem to want to rise to lures. Lot more predators around now.

Recommendation
Would anyone suggest that kalbarri would be a good idea for a fish this Thursday through until Sunday?
Got a mate over form the eastern states and original plan to head down to Esperance has been hindered by the weather.
Never been boating in Kalbarri but I have a suitable boat and have read a bit about the entry/exit up there.
Or maybe head somewhere else for some beach fishing?
Thanks in advance

Kalbarris a great place
Been enough on here lately to give you a heads up.only problem can be the river mouth, but if others are going thru it should be ok. Abit safer now you have markers to follow

Still like that
Just one pic from last Sunday, up around where you were fishing in the comp, saw others in water deeper than that , that went floor to ceiling without a gap. Bigger fish showing on the bottom right, too.

There are a few better ones about
had to kill one of 10.2 kg which swallowed a lure, and released another one which was a good 17kg on Sunday.

Yes, normally released.
Don't mind a really small one to eat, occasionally. I prefer to run single hooks on my trolling lures nowadays , makes release of things like that a lot easier on both me and the fish. Hadn't got around to it with that batch, obviously. Every time I tail grab something like that meant for release I realise I am getting older , that one was a two handed grab and lift. and yep, finally sussed the adding of pics to other peoples' threads. Thanks for that, Stevo81. So when I photobomb the crap out of everyone elses' threads, you can blame him.
