South West Salmon

Ok guys
I know the Salmon threads are going to be done to death so just wanted a bit of advice from the South West boys whether (from recent experience) the Salmon will hang around or keep coming through toward end of next month? Basically I have a holiday place down there but wasn't wanting to have to compete with the crowds both on the roads and the beach so didn't plan to go down just yet.
Will make a short trip if my planned dates around end of April will be pointless.
Any advice will be awesome.

There should still be plenty around the end of April. They might be on the way back south though so might be moving through quickly.

End of April is when you will get huge amounts of salmon. In the bay there will be regular large schools moving through the easy to fish bays.

End of april you'll be able
End of april you'll be able to smack em in the sound. But yeah last year i was at bunkers at end of april and the reefs were holding heaps of salmon. They were only hitting placcies tho.

april may better than march april, but they have been fishing well for 3 years round walpole any time of year.

there are heaps now and bound to be around till late May
