I went for a troll the other day out there and hooked up but dropped him. never saw it but assumed spaniard the way that it hit and run.

went for
a troll today at staggies no spanish macs but got to rat sambos, the water temp was 24.9 in some places warm hey.

mate showed
me a pic of a spaniard about 1100mm caught 500m to 1km off city beach trolling. Also while squidding in the same area had his jigs bitten in half by NW Blowies !

maybe it was a WHALER SHARK that you heard? i very much doubt it was a whale shark, but grooveepants did catch a marlin on the 5 last weekend, so maybe its goin to be one of those seasons....

Heading out on Saturday for troll behind 3 mile, weather look good at this point so looks like a lot of boats will be out there. See you all out there.
