tried squidding this arvo @ north mole freo. no luck, tried at 5 different spots from 4pm-6:30pm. was trying out my new daiwa emereldas nude jig in gold/brown colour, size 3.5

tried south mole yesterday in the morning and it was quiet... only got one small one (6" tube). Good thing is it was double the size of the last one i got there a few weeks prior so they're growing, hopefully the next one will double that size again.

personally id be trying a smaller jig
i only use 2.5 sized jigs unless fishing deeper water!

Orange at sunrise
Caught a couple of squids and cuttlefish at south mole and rockwall near the freemantle yatch club on Sat morning. A couple of chaser but not touching...dowgrading to 2.0 and instant hook up!
