was thinking of going for a drift for squid, between Fishing boat Harbour, and South Mole, got a good bag of them a few years ago, but have not been back since, does anyone know if they are catching them in this area?

Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.

out of interest assume you
out of interest assume you are either close in to beach or further out at sea - every time I go out of the heads -if you drew a straight line between FBH and south mole there seems to a "freeway" of boat traffic between the two -
on quite a few trips back from 3 mile reef I have stopped and thrown jigs all along the rock wall of the north mole a few times and got nothing
