Squid/Bread and Butter

Just asking if anyone is having success with any squid and the smaller fair, just looking for a bit of fun and maybe a feed.

There seems to be heaps of herrring around at the moment. Try burleying around the rock walls in the sound or anywhere really. Good luck.

Not according to Fisheries
...they say they are under threat of collapse and we need a bag limit reduction!!!!
Personally, last weekend we had carpets of them everywhere....seemed to be literally thousands at all the inshore spots we tried.
Sometimes I really wonder about Fisheries. Maybe they need to "invent" that some other species is under collapse to keep them in a job.
