Squiddies
On Sunday, Ben and I competed in the Clamari Classic and ended up with 22 squid, taking out 1st place in the JetSki category.
We couldnt help ourselves, and went back out today. Ended up with 24 squid this time, as well as 8 whiting. We caught the first 15 squid in about 20 minutes and it was realy going off, with multiple squid following up hooked squid on the jigs.
We then decided to head out behind GI as the wind dropped down to under 5knts. We caught 8 whiting, wrasse, flathead, skippy and herring in about 8m of water. We then tried a little closer to the island in a couple meters of water where Benjo hooked this buff bream. Not sure how he didnt get snapped off as he was only using 8lb main line with no leader in pretty reefy country.

third pic down your both hooked up and the pelican is in the back ground. on sunday i hooked both my bigger squid with a pelican hanging around, mayb its a lucky pelican lol.

harimitsu 3g. I had orange
harimitsu 3g. I had orange and ben had pink. He ended up dropping it in 8m of water while we were fishing for whiting, he was trying to wash ink off of it haha.

They changed the kayak
They changed the kayak section this round,,the tandems have two people squidding but the weighin individualty, each person had to weigh in there own bag,,
That was to keep a level playing field i guess.

how would it make it any fairer in the boats category if we had two people on my ski but the boat drifiting next to us had 7 ppl on it?

if you want to seperate your
if you want to seperate your catch why not get a bucket of some sort and modify it to fit inside the esky , then you can keep the squid in the smaller bucket , easier for cleaning as well
