Caught about 35 fish of all sizes over 2 days. 2 fish in the 70's kept the rest were released.
Other fish in photos are 87 and 90cms.

Cheers guys
Cheers guys - Marky fished lures during the day casting and trolling and picked up fish to 80cm. All the biguns were on live/dead mullet and strip baits at night. Also picked up a few on fizzers/nightwalkers at night.

Nice
Nice effort guys. How comfortable did you feel in a tinny at night? There's some big lizards in that river.

yeah nice change of scenery
yeah nice change of scenery there, you never really hear much about the Vic, everyone seems to have the Daly blinkers on.
Congrats of the metery's, hopefully the first of many.

Dont let the secret out Tim
The Daly, Adelaide, Roper etc are closer to Darwin as you know, so the Vic being a good 500km doesn't get the pressure.
Only Katherine/KNX locals really.
It's a big River but unlike other rivers the runoff is a lot shorter due to the difference in the catchment environment.
Got a big trip planned around the 18th Dec and can't wait.
