Really struggled catching a feed of squid shore based this season anyone else having poor results? the last few years it was easy to get 10-12 squid a session and there doesn't seem to be as much weed around. im regularly in the freo area and further south, keen to hear how others have faired.

I normally squid on sunset
I normally squid on sunset which happens to be bottom of the tide this year as it was last year. I found the squidding to be better when there was very little difference between hi and lo. I tried this morning on a big high tide for something different but it was hopeless. water was pretty clear might try the river instead.
