I have been fishing for 20 years now everywhere in the state from Kununurra to Bremer Bay and have never seen a fisheries officer once I would like to think we don't need them but we all know the freezer filling mentality is still out there.

The only one I've seen was in coral bay, the only thing he was concerned about was making sure we had the correct safety gear on board.... I was pretty dissapointed..

Fisheries
I've been checked a few times at Tantabiddi Ramp, Woodies Ramp, Hillaries Ramp, Waroona Dam and 5 miles behind rotto!
Considering the years I've been fishing for, its not a hell of a lot.
I'd be happy to pay $20 for a rec fishing licence and have some of it channeled into Fisheries patrols.

Checks
We've been checked once for fish in many many years at a lot of different ramps but have been checked for safety equip/flares/lifejackets etc probably once a year.

I totally agree big john as long as the money is going into improving our states fisheries.
