Steep point

Managed to get a spot at steep point for 4 days in 3 weeks as a last minute trip with my brother and a couple of mates. Anybody been up there lately?? Still Mack's around? Trying to get my brother onto a Mack and some monster sharks after dark and ill be diving all around the place during the day. Can't wait to get back up there!!

Always a few
Always a few Mack's around, just gear up for a bit of every thing bro . You will luv the free diving up there, plenty to spear and you don't have to go too far out or too deep. ( oops just read you have been there before )
As for sharks at night, no need mate . there will be plenty around during the day to keep you busy . lol . Just look out for the local Cod, they are just as agressive as the sharks .

Yeah only spent a day
Yeah only spent a day exploring there while we waited for the dirk barge in April. Dived the shallows just as I was solo wasn't keen on the cliffs but this time ill have a good buddy so ill go try the cliffs and monkey rock and around there. Hope to shoot a few Mack's and get my bro line fishing onto some more monsters. I know the channel off the beach should hold big sharks just not sure where else to try in my limited time up there.
